About Me

My name is Ankitha, and I am a recent graduate from Cornell University with a background in public policy and data science. I have a strong passion for teaching and enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially math, statistics, and economics. I have prior experience tutoring AP Statistics and Economics, and I take a clear, step-by-step approach to teaching that focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorization. I adapt my explanations to each student's learning style and aim to make lessons engaging, approachable, and practical. I also enjoy teaching middle school math, where I focus on strengthening foundational skills and helping students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems at their own pace.
