About Me
As a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin, I have over two years of experience teaching, including peer tutoring and in-class support for younger students. I am confident tutoring across a range of subjects, with particular strength in mathematics, including Algebra II, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. My teaching approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, which allows me to connect with students by seeing challenges from their perspective and addressing individual areas of confusion. My early experience as a peer tutor in high school gave me a strong foundation in breaking down complex problems and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy singing and playing guitar. Although I am not very talented yet, I enjoy practicing and improving. I love traveling and exploring nature; from the mountains to the sea, I appreciate all the beautiful views and the different cultures. I also enjoy trying a variety of foods, which reminds me that learning, like food, is about curiosity and discovering new experiences. These hobbies help me stay open-minded and connect with students in meaningful ways.
