About Me
With a Master's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and over two years of experience as a certified reading tutor, I have dedicated myself to fostering a love for reading in children. Through my work with AmeriCorps in the Fulton County School District, I have guided students in grades 1 and 2, utilizing phonics and comprehension strategies tailored to their individual needs. By incorporating interactive activities like storytelling and word games, I make learning enjoyable while closely monitoring their progress to ensure they are prepared for the academic challenges ahead. My goal is to empower each student, helping them understand the importance of reading as a foundation for their future educational journey.
