As a retired teacher with a Master's degree in Education from Morehead State University, I bring over 20 years of classroom experience across all grade levels, specializing in high school biology and elementary and middle school education. My passion for teaching is rooted in the belief that every student can succeed when learning is engaging and tailored to their individual needs. I have experience implementing tutoring programs that foster significant academic growth, and I thrive on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I am particularly enthusiastic about helping students develop a love for science and writing, and I aim to make each session both educational and enjoyable.

I love to learn. We are in constant evolution in mind and body. I love the outdoors, kayaking, gardening, hiking and hanging with my three dogs. I also enjoy reading. There’s something very special about holding and absorbing the contents of a book.
