As a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students achieve academic success. I specialize in reading instruction, phonics, reading comprehension, and elementary education, with a strong background in supporting diverse learners, including ELL and ESE students. I also served as a reading specialist, working one-on-one and in small groups to diagnose reading challenges, implement targeted interventions, and help struggling readers make meaningful gains. I focus heavily on improving reading fluency and strengthening students' decoding skills through research based strategies that build accuracy, automaticity, and confidence. My approach centers on personalized, engaging lessons that foster a genuine love of learning. I have extensive experience integrating technology such as Varsity Tutors, Nearpod, and other interactive platforms to maximize student growth and motivation.
