Teaching has been my passion for the past 18 years, and I find great fulfillment in helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Counseling, from Morehead State University, which is located in Morehead, KY, I have dedicated my career to understanding how children learn the best and how to support them both academically and emotionally. As a tutor specializing in elementary reading, math and language arts, I take pride in creating engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to each child's unique needs. My favorite subject to tutor is reading, particularly phonics, because I firmly believe that strong reading skills open the door to success in all areas of learning. My years of experience in the classroom have taught me that every child has the potential to excel with the right guidance and encouragement. Seeing my students grow in confidence and ability is what drives my passion for tutoring and I look forward to the opportunity to help more students reach their full potential.

I love spending time outdoors, whether it's swimming, working in yard, or visiting the beach. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, and I enjoy exploring new books just as much as I love helping students develop their own love for reading. Most importantly, I cherish time spent with my family and creating memories.
