About Me

I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional and Behavioral Disorders from Georgia Southwestern State University. I am passionate about fostering K - 12 student confidence and celebrating their successes. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring instruction to the unique strengths and interests of each student, ensuring that they not only grasp the material but also feel empowered in their learning journey. With a robust background in teaching AP English Literature and Composition, as well as elementary and middle school subjects, I have developed effective strategies to engage diverse learners. I have been honored with the Teacher of the Year Award three times across different schools, a testament to my commitment to my students' growth. I look forward to collaborating with new students to help them master challenging skills and achieve their academic goals!
