About Me

I am a retired teacher from Goose Creek CISD in Baytown, Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education-grade 4 in 2008 from University of Houston at Clear Lake. I am also ESL certified. I taught kindergarten and first grade for almost 16 years. I also taught Pre-K-12th grades for 8 years as a substitute teacher/tutor. I am a very caring person and extremely passionate about engaging my students with exciting learning opportunities. I pride myself in creating a stimulating learning environment that accommodates students at various academic levels. I provide effective communication and maintain a strong relationship with my students and their families. I really enjoy teaching through the Varsity online platform. I love to share my joy of teaching and learning with my students in math and science. I am available Monday through Friday, as well as Saturday and Sunday. I do take national holidays off to spend time with my family and friends. I look forward to working with you and your child or children.
