About Me

My name is David Nguyen. I am Math Instructor at Carl Albert State College and Upward Bound Tutor at University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. I started my current position in September 2025 and February 2026. I have Associate of Art in Secondary Education from Rogers State University, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Northeastern State University, and Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction (Math) at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I also have Alternative Certificate of Teaching Intermediate Mathematics in Oklahoma and Certificate of Mathematical Science from Shawnee State University. I have lived, studied, and worked in Oklahoma since 2009. I used to work as a Tutor at Northeastern State University, Math Lab Assistant at Tulsa Community College, Adjunct Instructor at Bacone College & Rogers State University, Math/Science Specialist at Independence Community College, and Tutor/Math Specialist at Carl Albert State College before my current position. I enjoys helping students to be successful in Math classes.
