About Me

I'm a retired English and theatre teacher-- I am certified and teach HS English 11 & 12, Theatre as well as Speech and Debate and film. I also work with Special Education students (AU, ELL, OCS, et al) I hold a BA in theatre, minor in voice. I later returned to university for Theatre Education and English Education. I've been inducted into the NC Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame (2020), and was honored with the Presidents' award at 2021 NC's Theatre Arts Educators conference. I love what I doit is all thinking about ideas and connecting with others. What better way to understand the world?!
