About Me

I received my BSW from the University of South Florida in Tampa. I have 35 years of experience in social work and in teaching students, 5K-8th grade. I incorporate activities in lessons and try to include as many senses in order to help children learn and retain the subject content. I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, children on the spectrum, and children with ADHD and ODD, having worked as a behavior modification therapist. I treat each child as an individual and can encourage and deescalate as needed. I can be a support to homeschoolers, and I assign work in between sessions as needed.
