My teaching certificate is for Pre-K through grade 8 all general subjects. After graduation, I taught preschool for at risk students for 1 year. I have also taught first and third grades; in total I have 9 years teaching experience. I have been with Varsity for several years, and I enjoy the one-on-one relationship with each student, many of which are long term (2+years). I am a very patient, kind, soft spoken and caring educator, who seeks to find the best approach for each learner. I have many resources that I utilize to help my students be successful. During sessions, I incorporate auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning by following an I Do, We Do, You Do approach. The environment that I create is very nurturing and friendly as I want students to feel comfortable asking questions.
