About Me

One of my strengths is in statistics tutoring---AP statistics, college statistics, graduate level statistics. I am patient and friendly. When I meet a new student, my focus is on understanding them. I ask questions to get an idea of where the student is in terms of content. At the same time, I reassure the student that we will work on things together. I genuinely want students to feel at ease. This allows me to better diagnose their strengths and weaknesses, resulting in a solid plan to help students learn. With 24 credits of graduate level statistics in a Statistics Department and 9 credits of graduate level statistics/methods courses in a Psychology Department, I have tutored part-time in basic math, algebra, AP statistics, undergraduate statistics, and graduate level statistics for more than a decade. Some students are generally anxious with math-related subjects. With my approach, personality, and teaching style, I have had great success with students of various ages. I am confident that I can help you succeed.
