I have also helped prepare students to take the HSPT for admission to Catholic and faith-based high schools with great success. I make complex concepts easy for students to grasp. I believe that tutoring students is an art, and I am an accomplished artist. I usually connect with most students quickly after spending a short amount of time with them, partly because I understand what it is like to face struggles in school. I'm not perfect; no one is. Knowing you've made a mistake and admitting it shows that everyone has room to learn more, and I understand that not every approach works with every student. Patience is a key quality for any teacher/tutor, and in that quality, I excel. I work well with all different types of students, from those who need to be challenged to those who need to catch up. And I work well with all of them. Learning is a life-long journey, let's go together.
