I'm eager to help you in your education. I'm a recent graduate of Harvard College looking to apply to law school. My senior thesis was written on John Dewey's ideas of education, which I deeply believe has incredible power to transform individuals and society.

I am a recent graduate of Williams College, where I studied political science with sidelines in history and English. Next fall, I am headed to Ithaca to study at Cornell Law School. I have experience tutoring in all subjects for high school standardized tests and in writing and history at higher levels, and am excited to pass on the benefits of my study as a tutor for the LSAT. I'm currently a second year law student at Boston College. My teaching experience started in eighth grade when I taught CCD to a group of first graders. Since that time, I've had a range of experiences in education. While at the University of Notre Dame, I tutored twice a week at the Robinson Community Learning Center. I also participated in a service trip to an alternative high school in Appalachia. Upon graduating from Notre Dame, I joined the Alliance for Catholic Education, a Service Teaching Program that placed me at an under-resourced 6-12 school in Dallas, Texas.

I am hoping to start law school next fall. Before I lose another three years of my life to academia, I hope to spend the time I have now to help students get the grades and marks they need to reach the schools of their dreams. I've been on the "treadmill" and I know how brutal the educational arena can be. Thus, I find great satisfaction in being able to help people who were in similar situations as myself. I have extensive experience in tutoring from two previous positions in which I taught in both a classroom setting and a one-on-one setting. Regarding the subjects I have taught- I am familiar with math all the way up to Algebra 2 (including SAT Math), I have helped many students prepare for the SAT and ACT, I am very familiar with the LSAT, and I can assist students with Literature and Writing as well. In my experience with tutoring, I have found that students can often learn best when the instruction is tailored to their needs. Each student has unique strengths and weaknesses, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to play on those strengths and weaknesses in order to bring out the best performance from the student. Although law is still my passion, I've found that I truly enjoy teaching; the friendships I've developed and the lessons I've learned are invaluable, and within this next year, I hope to help as many students as possible. Outside of teaching, I like watching a good UFC fight now and then, and I am shamelessly addicted to the NBA and all its glory. I have an insatiable appetite for good music, films, art, and of course, food, and I love experiencing and learning about different cultures, religions, and views. Lastly, I think the cheeseburger is the greatest invention man has ever made, and I am forever in pursuit of the best burger in L.A.

I am a Gates Cambridge Scholar and recently completed my MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge. This fall, I will begin my legal education at Yale Law School. I believe that my achievement on the LSAT and in the law school application process, as well as my two years’ worth of part-time tutoring experience, have enabled me to help others successfully navigate the process of preparing for a legal education.

I'm Emma. I'm a 2016 Northwestern University graduate currently working as an ESL classroom teacher. I'm currently working towards a J.D. at Columbia Law School. Before joining Varsity Tutors, I tutored the LSAT for a private company, both as a classroom teacher and in one-on-one tutorials. Building off that experience, I will be working for Varsity Tutors, helping people prepare for the LSAT as well as the SAT and the ACT. I am currently a student at Cornell University. At Cornell, I have maintained a 3.88 GPA and made the Dean's List every semester. I attended a small private high school and graduated at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA (unweighted). My ACT Composite score was 34, and I am an AP Scholar with Honors.

I'm Charlie. I graduated from the University of Chicago last Spring, and I'm headed for Harvard Law School this Fall; in the interim, I'm preparing students to take the ACT and LSAT online and locally in Chicago. I am a Chicago native who is studying for the bar after graduating cum laude from Northwestern University Law School this May. I studied at St. Ignatius College Prep and graduated summa cum laude from Villanova University (including a two-term stint at Cambridge University). Between Villanova and Northwestern I worked at an academic non-profit organization and evaluated hundreds of fellowship candidates' writing and academic work.

I am a 99th percentile scorer on the LSAT with law school acceptances all across the T14 including Stanford, Columbia, NYU, and the University of Pennsylvania who is looking to help students achieve the score of their dreams. I tutor the LSAT Analytical Reasoning (games) and LSAT Logical Reasoning sections, and I also enjoy tutoring AP Government and the SAT Reading and Verbal sections. I am a graduate of Yale University, where I majored in Global Affairs. After graduation, I spent one year at a liberal arts college in Singapore, where I worked in the writing center and mentored students extensively in academic writing. Since then, I have been traveling, while continuing to tutor writing skills online. I emphasize learning how to write a clear, organized, and persuasive argument supported by solid evidence. In addition, I have experience tutoring students one-on-one with academic subjects and test prep. I enjoy helping my students discover the patterns behind the problems in standardized tests, especially in the SAT and LSAT. I'm a Columbia Law student and experienced teacher, tutor, and editor. At Columbia Law, I sit on the boards of the Student Public Interest Network, the LGBTQ students group, and the animal law group. I spent the summer after my first year working in Kampala, Uganda on human rights issues and helped a team of lawyers to repeal the oppressive Anti-Homosexuality Act.
