I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Chemical Engineering on a Pre-Medicine track while minoring in Business in the Cockrell School of Engineering. For the past 8 years, I have tutored students in all levels of math ranging from toddlers to high school students studying AP Calculus. I have worked for other tutoring agencies and also tutored through my local school district itself as well. My favorite subject since I was little has always been math! Aside from math, I also teach other subjects such as english and Spanish and others. I have worked with all kinds of students, including those with special needs or no prior knowledge in the subject. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, dancing, and spending time with my friends and family.

As a current nursing student, teaching is part of what I do every day-- from educating parents on child development to helping seniors understand the pathophysiology of diabetes, and even helping classmates with homework. I am a graduate student in history at the University of Central Oklahoma. I received a bachelors degree in political science from UCO in 2013 and a masters degree with honors in the same field in 2015. I am planning to pursue a doctoral degree as soon as I complete my 2nd masters. I have been tutoring students for over three years at UCO. I also taught American National Government as a teaching assistant for two semesters and have been a supplemental instructor for two years. I have also been involved with a research project at UCO and received a grant for my work. I have submitted papers and done presentations at several academic conferences. I am a member of both the political science national honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the history national honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. I can assist students with research, writing papers and essays, and political science courses. I enjoy helping others to learn.

I'm a recent graduate of Rowan University where I received a degree in Physics and a Minor in Mathematics.I've had the opportunity to work with students as a Learning Assistant in both an Electricity and Magnetism Lab and in an Intro Mechanics classroom. In those classes I was able to help college Freshmen/Sophomores work through various physics problems. I also provided informal tutoring outside of the classroom where students had the ability to work in a smaller setting, making it easier to tailor my teaching methods to the needs of each student.I currently work as a Physical Scientist.

Some of my favorite academic interests include memoirs and modern classics. I think Catcher in the Rye is still one of my all time favorite books but Percy Jackson, a modern classic, is up there too. Beyond academics, I take great guilty pleasure in watching TV shows such as Westworld, Sherlock, How I Met Your Mother, and even The Bachelorette when I'm at a low point.Beyond personal interests, tutoring has always been a side project of mine. Even since middle school, at a local elementary school, I would help tutor students in basic arithmetic and spelling. In high school, while the curriculum changed from multiplication tables to Calculus, the idea was still the same: help as many people reach their full potential as possible.
