I graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business in 2020. I am a double major in computer science and finance with a minor in mathematics. After school I worked at Citigroup as a delta one and exotic rates trader. I love playing sports and I participated in soccer, basketball, and track during High School. I also spend lots of time playing video games ranging from Super Smash Bros to Age of Empires.

I have done mission work in Mexico for several years which is one of the ways I became fluent in Spanish. I'm currently going to Florida International for a degree in Spanish, and I am also a freelance interpreter/translator. I believe knowing a second language is very beneficial, especially in the USA where the Spanish-speaking population is ever-increasing. I will give students some of the same techniques and tools I used to learn Spanish while also teaching them how to sound like a native speaker.

I began tutoring as a sophomore in high school, helping younger students in the neighborhood. I have tutored Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. I also was a PAL for elementary and middle school students, meaning I would travel to their schools and take them out of class to help them with the subjects they struggled with.Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing basketball and soccer with my friends, reading, writing, and watching sports. I will begin college this fall at The University of Texas at Austin, with a major in Biology. I plan to continue on to medical school, and ultimately become a doctor.

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Anthropology.Currently, I work as a preschool teacher in Fairborn, Ohio full time, where I teach toddlers. While I enjoy teaching toddlers, I think tutoring older, school age children will provide me with a unique teaching challenge. I love learning, and tutoring gives both the teacher and the student an opportunity to learn together. I have a firm belief that any student, regardless of background, can be successful in any area of life if he, she, or they are given the right tools and sufficient support to reach that point. Due to this, I try to challenge students to think outside the box to come to an answer, and I tend to not just give students the answer to the question they ask. Instead, I see what they think the possible answer is so that I can better understand their train of thought and what they fully comprehend at that moment. This aids me in developing adequate tutoring methods that best fit the students' needs. This includes explaining concepts that may seem tricky, going through practice problems, and finding comparisons to the students' own life that may aid in remembering what to do in certain situations. In accordance with that, I have found that simply giving a student an answer to a question does not aid in their learning, which can be detrimental when a test rolls around. I have found students who have been given the skills and support to figure out a difficult problem or concept by themselves find greater satisfaction in their schoolwork. That satisfaction also appears to reduce stress related to academics, as the students learn that they truly are capable of doing things they may have never thought possible.Currently I am a doctoral student at Antioch University New England studying clinical psychology. In the past I have attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where I obtained a master's degree in forensic psychology, and Michigan Technological University where I obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in law and society.

I am currently a senior at The City College of New York, pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. The areas I'm strongest in are the math and sciences. I believe every student should be able to receive all the possible resources needed for their success, such as tutoring.

I am currently a senior at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in cell biology, genetics, and development with a minor in neuroscience. I am passionate about science, writing, and collaborating with learners to find what best suits them. After college, I am looking forward to attending graduate school to pursue a PhD in cancer biology.I graduated from high school as a scholar with distinction and numerous AP awards, including National AP Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction. I was a peer tutor in English and STEM topics during my junior and senior years.Most importantly, I'm an enthusiastic learner and teacher. I feel passionately about sharing my love for learning with others. Learning is not a one-size-fits-all approach because of this I work to create an organic space of collaboration and growth in my sessions.
