Hello! I just graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in molecular environmental biology. I am a passionate learner and pass my enthusiasm to the students I teach. I hope to work with you or your child!

I have over 6 years of tutoring experience with students of all ages! I graduated from high school as the Class Valedictorian in 2016, and then within 2 years I completed a Bachelors in Neuroscience from the Ohio State University. Currently, I'm pursuing a Masters in Pharmacology, and working at the NIH researching pre-eclampsia and preterm birth. I aim to apply to MD-PhD programs this year, and specialize in Perinatology and Neonatology!I have always grown up in an environment that appreciates and encourages learning, and I love helping others achieve their academic goals! I have a lot of experience with AP classes, and I took over 15 courses and received college credit for ALL of them! I also have a lot of experience with tutoring students in elementary school, and middle school. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Scranton with a major in physiology on the pre-med track and minors in biochemistry and criminology. I was an algebra 1 and 2 tutor in high school as well as currently being a calculus 1 tutor in college. I tutor in pre algebra, algebra 1 and 2, pre-calculus, AP calculus AB, AP calculus BC, and calculus 1.

I am a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a current first year medical student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I began tutoring junior high and high school students in math and science as a freshman in high school, and have continued refining these skills throughout my time in college. I completed the MCAT in March 2017, and still vividly remember the study strategies that resulted in a successful score. My high school students have had great success on the SAT Subject Test in Biology, often scoring in the high 700s on their first attempt. I am available for either in person or online tutoring, depending on the distance!

I am currently a medical student at Brown University where I will be pursuing my MD and MS in Population Medicine. I recently graduated from the University of Connecticut where I triple majored in Molecular and Cell Biology, Anthropology, and Spanish. I have been teaching and tutoring for over four years to a variety of students with respect to age and background. Recently, I have been teaching and privately tutoring elementary and middle school students on English grammar and composition in Spain. Additionally, I am a Teaching Assistant for Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut. At university, I also volunteer with English as a Second Language to help adults better their language skills. Prior to that, I worked with high school students on college essay writing and International Baccalaureate English and Biology exams. As such, my favorite subjects to tutor are Biology and English because I feel like I have the most background in these areas and, thus, am able to better guide my students through the content. While teaching, I like to use individualized approaches to fit the needs of each student. I also believe in an interactive approach based on thorough communication to engage my students as much as possible. With these strategies, I can build a friendly and comfortable environment conducive to learning. Outside of academia, I love being outside, traveling, and sketching!

I'm not shy, but if you are it's ok I once was too. I'm a student of the mind and so all of my teachings will be tailored toward each individual or group traits that day. It's ok to fail, but don't allow yourself to quit. Learning is hard sometimes because everyone's brain understands things in a different way. But those differences, when explored, can make learning fun and make complex topics easier to understand. I'm not the old guy who loves hearing his own voice and likes to stand; so I don't lecture. I like to keep teaching/learning process fun, interactive, and creative because no one likes to be bored and confused. So involvement is key!

I have a large range of tutoring experience from very young to adult. I enjoy teaching and am considered to have a youthful/ caring approach as I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation.One of my goals each session is to keep my students challenged but not overwhelmed.I look forward to hearing from you and helping you excel in your studies!
