With a Bachelor's in Social Science from California State University, Chico, I am passionate about fostering a love for history and social studies among my students. One of my most rewarding teaching experiences was leading a team of students through a group design challenge in which we designed a functional prototype for an app to assist Ukrainian citizens who needed help finding life-saving resources during the war. My tutoring experience has given me the opportunity to work with a dynamic array of students ranging primarily from middle school to college, mostly in the areas of essay writing, global studies, and world history.

My approach to helping students is always centered around celebrating their educational achievements, big and small, and instilling a desire to grow into thriving scholars. I believe my natural positivity plays a key role in motivating students to trust in their ability to persevere through learning challenges by turning teachable moments into academic breakthroughs.

In my free time, I love to travel, especially admiring historic architecture and monuments. I also watching documentaries, baking sourdough bread, and playing outside with my golden retriever!
