Mina: Arcadia tutor
Certified Tutor
I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential by creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. With several years of experience, I have guided learners from diverse backgrounds through academic transitions, admissions processes, and skill development. Whether supporting international students with applications and study permits or coaching learners through coursework, I approach every student with patience, clarity, and encouragement.
I bring an interdisciplinary background that bridges social sciences and business. With a BA in Sociology (Honors) and a minor in Political Science, along with a Master's degree in Marketing, I understand both people and markets. My tutoring is tailored, practical, and results-oriented; blending academic rigor with real-world application. Whether preparing for exams, developing research skills, or tackling business and marketing projects, I help students achieve stronger performance and lasting confidence.
I also specialize in academic writing, organizational skills, and study strategies, which foster independence and long-term success. My tutoring style is collaborative and adaptive: I tailor lessons to each student's goals, break down complex ideas into clear steps, and create an interactive learning experience that sparks curiosity.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about activities that spark creativity, clarity, and connection. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy curating playlists as soundtracks for different moods and moments. I also love baking and decorating spaces that feel intentional and soulful, often inspired by design, mood, and storytelling. To stay balanced, I run long distances, and play chess, which keeps me both grounded and sharp. I am also a certified spinning instructor, and while I don’t currently teach, the training deepened my skills in motivation, discipline, and guiding others through their goals. I recharge by writing, reflecting, and listening to thought-provoking podcasts that inspire new ideas. I’ve always believed in learning through everyday experiences, and I’m constantly observing what sparks curiosity and how ideas take shape.
