As a passionate educator with a Master's in Education from Seattle University, I have dedicated over 24 years to teaching students from kindergarten to eighth grade, with a focus on reading, writing, and phonics. My experience includes over 20 years of tutoring, where I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of literacy. I employ a student-centered approach that fosters a supportive learning environment, helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I find immense joy in seeing my students make progress, and I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to ignite a love for reading and writing. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, cheering on my son at high school basketball games, walking my dog, and visiting Disney parks, all of which enrich my perspective as an educator.
