As a published, award-winning writer with a Bachelor's in English from John Brown University, I have over 2 years of experience tutoring students in AP English Literature and Composition, College English, and Creative Writing. I'm passionate about helping writers recognize and utilize their unique strengths while still setting realistic goals for improvement. I strive for a student-centered approach, balancing assignment requirements with the student's own goals to foster curiosity and discipline. By providing tailored insights and constructive feedback, I hope to instill a confidence and desire to enhance skills in writing for students. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading poetry and creative writing to stay sharp on the craft, as well as to provide professional advice from the masters of writing.
