As a dedicated tutor currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Political Science as a Senior at Howard University, I am passionate about fostering a love for learning in my students. With over 2 years of experience, I specialize in Elementary and Middle School English and Math, as well as High School Writing, SAT Reading and Writing, and ACT English and Reading. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a student-first supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves and tackle challenges head-on. I believe in tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs, which has led to significant improvements in their academic performance. In my free time, I enjoy reading and exploring new ideas, which further enriches my tutoring techniques and connects me with my students on a personal level.
