My name is Rukhsana Arshad, and I am a dedicated educator with a strong passion for helping students grow academically and personally, leaving a lasting positive impact on their lives. With three degrees including a Master of Arts in Teaching ELA & Social Sciences from National Louis UniversityI bring a wealth of experience from private tutoring, substitute teaching, and working closely with middle-grade learners.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student can excel when provided with a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment, enriched by culturally relevant and meaningful learning experiences. My tutoring style is patient, personalized, and interactive, meeting students where they are and adapting to their unique learning needs. I particularly enjoy teaching English, as it fosters creativity, imagination, and a love of reading, while also supporting students in building confidence and critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family.
