I'm a big believer that learning should be both exciting and empowering. As a tutor, my top priority is to inspire students to approach challenges with curiosity and confidence. I recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Environmental Science, and I bring several years of experience tutoring math and science. In high school, I worked with peers on algebra, geometry, and precalculus, and in college I led study groups in physics, general chemistry, and organic chemistry. Through these experiences, I've seen how difficult it can be when science and math are taught in overly abstract ways. My approach is to make concepts engaging, accessible, and relatable to actual situations. I love helping students build up both their understanding and confidence while reaching their goals. Beyond academics, I'm a nature enthusiast, comic book and board game nerd, and lifelong baseball fan (Lets Go Mets!). I value building meaningful connections with students and working together as a team to work through challenges.
