As a passionate third-year medical student with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry from Hunterer College, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, AP Biology, and the MCAT. My teaching philosophy revolves around making complex concepts accessible and engaging, utilizing a three-step learning process that emphasizes pre-learning, active engagement, and application. I strive to create a supportive and interactive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics deeply. My journey as a first-generation student has fueled my desire to help others overcome challenges in their learning. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with friends, which keeps me balanced and energized for my tutoring sessions.
