I hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University at Buffalo. I have been tutoring for over three and a half yearsand more than a decade as a home educatorworking with students of diverse ages and backgrounds. Over the years, I have guided learners in reading, vocabulary, comprehension, and other academic subjects, with a particular passion for helping elementary and middle school students develop the confidence and skills to succeed.

My favorite area to teach is reading, as it opens doors to every other discipline and nurtures a lifelong love for learning. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting each student where they are, adapting lessons to their unique learning style, and connecting material to their personal interests. I strive to make sessions engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual, ensuring that students feel both challenged and encouraged.

I view education as a powerful tool for growth, and I am committed to helping students not only master their subjects but also discover the joy in learning.
