With 16 years of experience in education, I have served as both a general education and special education teacher, working to support diverse learners in their academic and personal growth. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Master's degree in Special Education, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. For the past four years, I have been teaching virtually with Virtual Virginia, gaining valuable insights into innovative instructional practices and digital learning strategies.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to continuous professional development, attending numerous conferences and training sessions to expand my knowledge and refine my teaching approaches. I am excited to join Varsity Tutors as a tutor and look forward to helping students reach their academic goals, build confidence, and develop a love for learning

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy a variety of activities that keep me balanced and inspired. I have a love for reading, baking, and hiking, and I especially value spending quality time with my family. My passion for mentorship extends beyond academics—I coach high school cheerleading, which allows me to encourage teamwork, confidence, and school spirit in young athletes. I also find joy in being outdoors and connecting with nature, whether it’s through a peaceful hike or simply enjoying the fresh air. These interests keep me energized and help me bring creativity and enthusiasm to my work as an educator.
