I am a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience working with elementary students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, my Gifted endorsement, and have recently completed my Doctorate in Education with a Focus on Leadership. My passion for tutoring stems from the joy of helping students grow in confidence and independence as learners. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement, and I take pride in building strong relationships that help students feel seen, heard, and capable.

My favorite subjects to tutor are math and reading because they serve as the foundation for so much of a student's academic success. I particularly enjoy helping students break down complex math problems into manageable steps and using engaging texts to build reading comprehension skills. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, positive reinforcement, and adaptabilityI meet students where they are and tailor my approach to their learning style and needs. I strive to make learning both rigorous and enjoyable, using creative strategies to keep students motivated and curious.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family, exploring new places, and being outdoors. I also enjoy developing learning resources, reading about educational leadership, and finding new ways to inspire young learners.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially going on outdoor adventures with my husband and children. I love exploring new places, whether it's a nature trail or a nearby museum, and I’m always looking for ways to turn everyday experiences into learning opportunities. I also enjoy reading, particularly books on education, leadership, and personal growth. When I have quiet time, I like to journal, plan creative lessons, and discover fun educational activities to share with my students. Baking, crafting, and traveling are a few other hobbies that bring joy and balance to my life.
