My name is Eliza Jacob, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. With experience in tutoring elementary school students through a partnership with the YMCA, I have developed a strong foundation in teaching math and English, including subjects like Algebra, Geometry, and SAT preparation. My approach is student-centered; I believe in adapting my teaching strategies to fit each learner's unique style, whether through visual aids or example-driven problem-solving. I am passionate about helping students succeed academically, and I find joy in seeing their confidence grow as they master challenging concepts. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new learning methods and staying engaged with educational resources that inspire my tutoring practice.
