I'm a chemistry teacher with 18 years of experience working with students at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I specialize in teaching introductory, AP, and general chemistry, and I've taught in a wide range of settings from being a full-time college professor to a part-time adjunct instructor at multiple community colleges.

Over the years, I've developed a passion for helping all students succeed, especially those with learning challenges. I believe chemistry doesn't have to be intimidating and with the right approach, it can be fun, engaging, and totally doable. I know what students need to know to pass chemistry, and I focus on teaching smart strategies and helpful tricks that make the material easier to understand and remember.

I'm also a contributing writer for an AP Chemistry textbook and have won numerous teaching awards throughout my career. I'm proud to say that over the last four years, an average of 94% of my students have passed the AP Chemistry exam.
