As a clinical pharmacist specialist in infectious diseases with a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Mercer University, I have dedicated over 15 years to advancing patient care through the responsible management of infections and the judicious use of antibiotics. My passion for healthcare drives me to educate and empower pharmacy students, residents, and medical professionals, particularly in the areas of anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and pharmacotherapy of infectious diseases. I have precepted numerous pharmacy students and residents over the past five years, tailoring my teaching strategies to meet their unique learning needs and bridging gaps in their understanding of complex infectious disease concepts. I find immense fulfillment in helping students navigate this challenging field, aiming to instill a solid foundation that will enable them to utilize their knowledge effectively in their future practices.
