Hello! I'm Maggie Vincent, a passionate biologist with a PhD in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. With over five years of teaching experience at various levels, I have developed a strong foundation in subjects such as AP Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Genetics, and Biostatistics. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore complex concepts. I thrive on the transformative moment when a student grasps a challenging topic, and I strive to tailor my lessons to meet diverse learning styles. My experience includes tutoring a local Science Olympiad team, where I designed engaging lesson plans that led to their success. I am dedicated to making biology accessible and enjoyable, helping students build confidence and enthusiasm for the subject.

I love to hike, rock climb, collect insects, and read! Additionally, I maintain my academic research by collaborating with colleagues and I have several academic publications in process.
