As a passionate advocate for STEM education, I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Mount Holyoke College, where I cultivated a deep understanding of programming languages such as Java and C++. Although I have less than a year of formal tutoring experience, I have served as a peer mentor, helping students navigate the complexities of computer science. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive environment that emphasizes hands-on learning and personalized feedback. I strive to connect with students by gauging their unique learning styles and adapting my approach accordingly. I believe that with the right guidance, technology and mathematics can be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new coding challenges and staying updated on advancements in technology, which fuels my enthusiasm for teaching.
