Certified Tutor

I am a student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I am majoring in Geoscience, with a concentration in General Geology. I am minoring in Creative Writing. I have traveled extensively, teaching both friends and family alike on the subject of geology, collecting more information and rocks along the way. I have also been a tutor of writing. I am a published author. I have taught both geology and writing within my inner circles. I have also been a section leader and percussion captain in marching band, and have won multiple awards in the music, writing, and geology categories. While I am knowledgeable in many subjects, my expertise most lies in the realms of geology and writing. I enjoy teaching as hands-on as I can, and I am always improving my teaching capabilities as I get to know more about my clients. I try to use real-life analogies and bring "larger-than-life" concepts down to a digestable level. I find that there is beauty in all things, whether within the Earth, or in the mind, and I believe that education only reveals more of that beauty when you learn. I try to show people the wonders that I see, so we can admire together. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, all things music, collecting rocks, watching ice hockey, and playing Solitaire.
