Certified Tutor

As a first-generation immigrant, I've seen firsthand how a quality education can change a person's life. This personal journey is why I am so passionate about tutoring: I want to empower students and help them achieve their academic dreams, regardless of where they are right now.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Global Health at Northwestern University, with a planned graduation in 2027. My tutoring experience includes working with both high school and middle school students on fundamental subjects like Algebra and preparing for the SAT.

I am open to tutoring a wide range of subjects, including SAT Writing, SAT Math, and foundational math such as arithmetic. I also have experience with AP subjects including Biology, Literature, Language, World History, and U.S. History. My favorite subjects to teach are SAT grammar and math. I believe these are a focal point of the SAT, which is instrumental for a student's college application, and that the skills learned in these subjects translate directly to real-life success.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered and focuses on actual understanding rather than rote memorization. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging environment where students can truly grasp complex concepts and build the confidence they need to succeed.

Outside of my academic pursuits, I am an avid fan of basketball and football, and I enjoy both playing and listening to music.
