I love many outdoor activities, especially hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I can usually hike about six miles at a time, although it does take me several hours; I definitely have a tendency to meander in the forest. Reading for pleasure is also tops on my list. Historical fiction, especially about Tudor England and the Viking Era, are of great interest to me.
