As a dedicated educator with a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering (Chemistry) from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a postdoctoral appointment at a major pharmaceutical company, I am passionate about sharing my love for chemistry and the sciences with students. With experience in both academic and industrial settings, I have developed a hands-on teaching approach that emphasizes collaboration and practical problem-solving. My tutoring specialties include college-level chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and mathematics where I aim to create an engaging learning environment tailored to each student's needs. I believe that fostering curiosity and critical thinking is essential for academic success, and I strive to inspire my students to explore the wonders of science. In my free time, I enjoy reading about new scientific advancements and exploring the intersection of chemistry and technology, which further fuels my enthusiasm for teaching.

My interests span a range of topics, from investigating state-of-the-art advances in science (chemistry, biology, and physics mainly) to making craft coffee at home with a precision that was definitely taken from the chemistry lab. I am greatly interested in science and sustainability efforts, and how the interplay of these subjects defines and shapes the world we live in today. Outside of science I greatly enjoy playing video games, board games, guitar, golfing, watching movies, and hanging out with my wife and our two French bulldogs (who may make occasional camera cameos!).
