As a dedicated PhD student in Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland, my passion for teaching is deeply rooted in my love for science and a commitment to student success. With over two years of experience as both a tutor and a teaching assistant, I specialize in subjects such as AP Biology, Organic Chemistry, and Molecular Genetics. My approach focuses on breaking complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also see its relevance to their interests and future studies. I believe fostering a supportive learning environment is key to building confidence in students. Outside of academia, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and engaging in science communication, which allows me to share my enthusiasm for biology and genetics with others.
