As an English tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism (and Italian!) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I am passionate about helping students discover their unique writing voices.

With more than two years of experience tutoring, I have worked with high school students on crafting compelling college admissions essays, and with younger learners in remedial reading and foundational phonics.

My approach is student-centered; I believe in meeting students where they are and transforming the unknown into powerful narratives. I draw from my background in creative writing, where I have published several short stories and run a weekly fiction serial, to inspire students to embrace the writing process, and get to know themselves along the way.

I am dedicated to fostering a fun and supportive environment where students feel empowered to explore their ideas and express themselves with confidence -- and finesse.

In my spare time, you can find me working on my own stories or out in my garden.
