I graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Mathematics with minors in Art History and Political Theory. I am currently applying to PhD programs and working towards a career in academia. During COVID I began tutoring younger high schoolers in my area in the SAT; I specifically tutored students who couldn't afford prep classes since I was doing it for free. While in school I continued to virtually tutor for families who lived in my neighborhood, focusing primarily on the math section of the SAT/PSAT. As such, I hope to work with a range of students from late middle school to undergraduate level math classes. Furthermore, I took three years of physics courses and would be thrilled to work with high schoolers taking honors, AP, or calculus based physics classes. I love getting to work one on one with students so that I can learn their specific needs and so they can feel empowered to ask questions and take risks. Outside of mathematics, I play indoor and beach volleyball, crochet, and read lots of fiction.
