As a passionate educator pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management at Rutgers University, I am dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for my students. With over four years of tutoring experience, I specialize in English particularly reading comprehension and writing as well as subjects like AP Human Geography, Microeconomics, elementary and middle school Math, and intermediate French. My approach emphasizes empathy and adaptability, allowing me to tailor lessons to meet the unique learning styles of each student. I believe that building confidence is key to academic success, and I strive to empower my students by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps. My background in psychology helps me understand the cognitive development of learners, enabling me to connect with them effectively. Outside of my academic and professional interests in Psychology and Human Resource Management, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that keep me balanced and connected. I love reading and journaling in my downtime, as well as baking and cooking—especially for friends and family during movie nights. I also stay active by running 5Ks and skiing once a year. Volunteering is something I’m passionate about, as I find joy in giving back to the community. I have a dog named Jasper whom I adore and love taking on long walks. Altogether, my interests reflect my values: connection, well-being, and lifelong learning.
