I am Marissa Polzin, a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Lawrence University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. With over three years of tutoring experience, I specialize in chemistry and algebra, having worked extensively as a tutor and teaching assistant. My approach is centered on building connections with students; I prioritize understanding their unique perspectives and misconceptions through tailored questioning. This method not only clarifies complex concepts but also fosters a supportive learning environment.
