Daniel: Woodbury tutor
Certified Tutor
I'm a dedicated tutor with over five years of experience, specializing in the ACT and SAT tests along with elementary, middle, and high school mathematics. I'm currently studying Molecular Biology at Princeton University, where my passion for problem-solving continues to grow. My tutoring style is all about flexibility every student learns differently, so I focus on finding personalized strategies that truly work for them. With younger students, I put a strong emphasis on building confidence and foundational skills through engaging, curiosity-driven lessons. Over the years, I've helped students make meaningful gains in their test scores by focusing not just on the material, but also on practical test-taking strategies. I have also helped students who had fallen behind catch up with their grades, and given other students the tools needed to excel in Honors level classes. Outside of tutoring, I love diving into new math problems and sharing my enthusiasm for science in ways that make learning feel exciting and real.

Undergraduate Degree: Princeton University - Bachelor of Science, Molecular Biology
Outside of the classroom, I’m passionate about science research, especially projects that let me explore real-world applications of biology. I’m also a distance runner and love the mental and physical challenge of long races—it’s where I do some of my best thinking. When I’m not in the lab or out on a run, I enjoy following baseball and playing casually with friends. It’s a great way to unwind and stay connected to a sport I’ve loved since I was a kid.
