I'm a proud graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, where I earned a Ph.D. in Biosciences and a Bachelor's in Microbiology. Over the years, I've taught and mentored students at every levelfrom leading guest lectures in college courses like immunology, molecular cell biology, and cellular biochemistry, to guiding elementary school students in math and reading. Whether I'm in a lab, a classroom, or a small tutoring group, I strive to make learning a collaborative experience where students feel heard and supported. I specialize in tutoring subjects ranging from foundational biology to advanced topics like microbiology, immunology, and genetics. Outside of teaching, I enjoy stargazing and spending time in naturescience isn't just my career, it's my curiosity turned into a lifestyle.
