As a pre-med student with ADHD, I've learned firsthand that every academic journey is different, and that's what makes it meaningful. In the past, I have navigated the ups and downs of a rigorous course load by experimenting with varying learning styles until I found what worked for me. Now, I reach all my academic goals and often exceed them. My success would have been very different without the support of excellent tutors and academic coaches who believed in me. I'm passionate about passing that support forward and impacting other students, no matter what stage of learning they are in, in the same way.
I'm pursuing a dual B.A. in Neuroscience and Public Health at Austin College. Regarding tutoring, I specialize in English, writing, science, and literacy skills across elementary to high school levels, and I bring patience, creativity, and encouragement to every session. My approach is rooted in empathy and patience: I know what it feels like to struggle and how transformative the proper guidance can be. Whether helping a student decode a reading passage or brainstorm a creative writing prompt, I always aim to empower them to build confidence and independence.
