I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a minor in American Literature. I am passionate about reading, writing and helping others to learn all aspects of the English language to enhance their communications, including improving writing and speaking skills and reading comprehension. For many years, I have specialized in business writing and editing for websites, e-newsletters, online publications and traditional print media. I began teaching English as a second language to young people and adults while serving in the Peace Corps in Suriname, South America. I also have taught online ESL reading, writing and speaking courses to business people around the world, including Europe, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Poland and China. My hobbies include reading, hiking, music, playing with my dog and having fun with my family.
