I am a certified educator with a strong background in special education and general education, and I have spent over a decade supporting students in a variety of learning environments. I hold a degree in education and have extensive experience designing individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student. My passion for helping students stems from the joy of witnessing their confidence grow as they master new skills and realize their potential.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, including those with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and emotional or behavioral challenges. My teaching philosophy is centered around building strong, supportive relationships and creating a structured yet flexible learning environment that allows students to feel safe, capable, and motivated. I believe in celebrating small wins and using those moments to inspire continued progress.
I tutor a wide range of subjects, including reading, writing, Dyslexia interventions, executive functioning focused learning strategies, and test preparation. My favorite subjects to tutor are reading and writing because they are foundational to academic success across all disciplines and offer so many creative opportunities for student engagement. I love helping students discover their voice and gain confidence in expressing themselves through words.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy traveling, photography, and spending time with my family. I also have a deep appreciation for the arts and enjoy incorporating music, theater, and visual storytelling into my work when appropriate. Helping students grow academically and personally is deeply fulfilling, and I'm committed to making a lasting, positive impact on their learning journeys.

I have a deep interest in how the human brain works, particularly in how students learn and process information. This passion led me to the field of educational diagnostics, where I work to uncover each learner’s unique strengths and challenges to help unlock their full academic potential. I’m fascinated by cognitive development, learning differences, and the individualized strategies that can support student success. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my children, who constantly inspire me with their curiosity and energy. We love exploring nature, playing games, and learning new things together. I also adore my dog, Belle, who brings a lot of joy and calm to our household. Whether we’re taking long walks or just relaxing together, Belle is a constant reminder of the importance of patience, presence, and unconditional support.
