Certified Tutor

I am a retired teacher with 35 years of experience in Elementary Education. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Manhattan University, my MS Ed from Hunter College in NYC, and my MS in School Supervision and Administration from Mercy College in NY. I have worn many hats in my profession; I've been a classroom teacher, a library teacher, an assistant principal, a math coach and mentor for other teachers. I've taught every grade in elementary schools, and even spent one year teaching 7th grade English. Of all the subjects to teach, my favorite has always been math. I believe everyone has the ability to be good in math, even if they don't think so. Since retirement, I've spent my time working as a travel agent, planning trips for family and friends, and taking an art course, where my favorite medium is painting in both acrylic and oils. I also have a dog, Raina, that I enjoy taking out for walks.
