I am a sophomore at UT Austin double majoring in Government and the Plan II Honors Program at UT Austin. I am passionate about advancing educational equity through public policy and ensuring that every student has access to the resources they need to thrive. I have worked with elementary school and middle school students for the past five years. While I tutor in a wide range of subjects, I specialize in language arts, reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writing. I encourage students to take risks and make mistakes before I step in. I believe the most rewarding learning opportunities happen when students step out of their comfort zone. I take a hands-on approach and adjust my teaching style to every student's individual needs, checking in throughout a lesson on what is clear and what is not.
